Home ownership may be more affordable and easier than you think, was the message from Scotiabank mortgage specialist Keisha McAlmont-Fraser at a recent home showcase held at Scotiabank Rockley.
A large engaged audience took in the presentations by expert realtors Julie Dash from Hannah Properties and David Coombes from Caribbean Island Properties. Ms. Dash discussed best practices in purchasing a home, suggesting that potential homeowners first find out from the Bank what they would be eligible to borrow. Mr. Coombes presented a range of homes currently available. Scotiabank’s McAlmont-Fraser ended the presentation by pointing out that now during the current buyer’s market was a good time to purchase or upgrade a home.
